Seaside is one of South Walton’s most popular destinations on 30A, known for their motto, “Old Town, New Ways.” Seaside is credited as one of the first “New Urbanist” coastal towns that brought back the walkable town center concept. This picture-perfect town was the backdrop for the award-winning film, “The Truman Show” featuring Jim Carrey from 1998. Today, Seaside is known as the exciting, bustling hub of activity along 30A. Seaside’s town center features some of the most recognized establishments along 30A including Bud and Alley’s Restaurant, Great Southern Café and Modica Market. Make sure to stroll through food truck alley for all of the delicious smells!
