Grayton Beach founded in 1890, is located down scenic 30A and is home to one of the nation’s most eclectic beach villages. Offering lakefront and beachfront activities, Grayton Beach is unlike anywhere else. Colorful and historic homes line the main and side streets. The locals will be at Chiringo having a libation and a laugh and welcome visitor’s with their town slogan “Nice Dogs Strange People.” The famous Red Bar is a focal point of this community, and plays a role in defining the eccentric and artistic vibe of this quaint and funky little beach community. Also home to Grayton Beach State Park, known for its coastal dune lakes, undisturbed beaches and dunes, and those longleaf pines on Western Lake. Grayton Beach State Park is one of the most beautiful places to go and wander, where you can meander about, living the simple life and enjoying the sites. This area is great for camping, beach fishing, beach driving with a permit, dog friendly restaurants, Grayton General Hurricane Oyster Bar, Chanticleer, Roux30A, Nanbu Noodle Bar, Black Bear Bread Co., hair salons, and interior design firms. A good vibes only take on life, those in Grayton Beach know how to enjoy the simple things. Shop till you drop at The Zoo Gallery, around our area since the 1970s. New to the community is Bryan Kelly of Florida Georgia line and his Tribe Kelley Surf Post, an upscale surf shop offering boutique style clothing from the Tribe Kelley clothing line started by Brian’s wife Brittney. Grayton is also home to Hotz Avenue and the only place on 30A where you can drive permitted on the beach. Grayton Beach is prime location for long beach days, paddleboard adventures, golf cart cruising or simply relaxing and living the good life.
