Destin City Council is meeting April 29, 2020 to discuss re-opening the beaches

6:00am - 9:00am and 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Future decisions regarding beach reopening and expanding the time frame that the beaches are open will largely depend on the short-term rental ban. The short-term rental ban was extended until April 30th. Unless extended further by Executive Order from the Office of the Governor, that ban will expire at the end of the month.

I will try to keep you updated as we see further developments concerning the reopening of our beaches and non-essential businesses, as well as the short-term rental ban. In the interim, I hope that each of you are taking care of yourselves and staying well. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
