Ask any real estate group about their priorities, and customer service will inevitably land in the top three. But, in an industry that thrives on competition and sales cycles, what does that really mean?

Relationships sit at the heart of real estate operations, and savvy real estate professionals know that most deals live and die by the quality of customer interaction. That’s why our team here at The Premier Property Group (PPG) has made it our mission to create a top-down culture that reflects an uncommon approach to relationship-building.

“Our philosophy around customer service starts internally with the relationships between our agents, staff and partners,” said Jason White, chief operating officer at PPG, noting that the company’s broad

Spotlight on Bird Watching

Visitors may flock to the Emerald Coast for our sugar-sand beaches and unspoiled landscapes, but our unique natural resources extend far beyond coastlines and waterways. The Choctawhatchee Audubon Society calls our region the most biologically rich area in the U.S. in terms of the number of living creatures. From sea turtles to bottlenose dolphin to great blue herons, the species who pass through our area are plentiful and diverse.

Like our local communities, The Premiere Property Group embraces ecotourism, which can be defined as sustainable tourism. It includes authentic experiences that are distinctive to the local region, and it differs from mass-market tourism in that it exists because of the place. Simply

Beyond the obvious beauty of the Emerald Coast, there’s a deeper, more elusive splendor situated less than a mile off the shores of Grayton Beach State Park. Recently showcased in Time’s famed Greatest Places of 2018, the Underwater Museum of Art (UMA) resides about 57 feet under the Gulf of Mexico’s emerald green waters, marrying the beauty of sculpture and the life-sustaining power of artificial reefs.

The UMA’s permanent underwater sculpture garden, launched in 2017, draws a wide variety of marine life and provides a vital habitat in the form of a living reef. Conceived by Allison Wickey, president of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), the UMA attracts art lovers and marine wildlife in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Some things to consider before taking the plunge

The Emerald Coast is an attractive area for investing in second homes. In recent articles we’ve told you about the area’s healthy tourism and economic outlook and why the future of real estate sales is expected to remain promising. Just as a refresher, visitor numbers in South Walton alone grew from 3.2 million in 2015 to 4.1 million in 2017. The Emerald Coast enjoys a high volume of return visitors (more than 10 times for many), and the majority rent condos or homes during their stay.

Here at The Premier Property Group (PPG), we understand why so many people fall in love with the communities we serve and want to own property here. It’s our goal to make sure that customers make the best

From Gulf-to-table to farm-to-table, the Emerald Coast is home to a wide array of locally-sourced, fresh food options that characterize the region’s celebrated cuisine. For those who like to get up close and personal with their food choices, U-pick farms exist that allow residents and visitors to harvest their own produce while making lasting memories.

Amid growing demands on our time, these options are a great way to spend time with family and friends, buy healthy food, enjoy the outdoors and support local business owners at the same time. While Northwest Florida’s temperate climate allows for year-round growing, March kicks off an active U-pick season and a prime opportunity to land a variety of fresh, locally-sourced crops.

Approximately five hours west of Florida’s Emerald Coast, the excitement is already building for New Orleans’ celebrated annual festival: Mardi Gras. Weeks of celebration will draw hundreds of thousands of people to the city for plenty of revelry that culminates in the main event on March 5th.

The centuries-old celebration derives its name from the French words meaning Fat Tuesday—a religious holiday that takes place the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent each year on the Christian calendar. To prepare for the traditional practice of fasting during Lent, people would “indulge their appetites”. Today, Mardi Gras is synonymous with colorful parades, feasting, imbibing and plenty of fun.
